Send any logo. The preview shows exactly what comes out of the laser, and you see it before you bid. Strokes under 0.3 mm won’t survive. I vet every logo by hand.

FAQ
Is this real?
Yes. Real MacBook, real fibre laser, permanent etch. The lid works out of cafés and conference rooms with your logo cut into it.
Etched? Not a sticker?
Etched. The laser marks the aluminium itself, dark on silver. It cannot peel, fade, or come off.
How does bidding work?
Starts run $20 to $75. Outbids add $10 or more. At close the top bid per spot wins and gets a one-off payment link via Dodo Payments. Unpaid after 48 hours, the next bid takes the spot.
What if bids don’t reach $2,999?
Then no MacBook, no etch, and nobody pays. All or nothing, like a Kickstarter.
What do I actually get?
Your logo etched at your spot, a followed link on this page, photos of the finished lid, and a credit in the etching film.
What kind of logo can I send?
Any logo. It comes out as one dark tone, because that is what a fibre laser does to anodised aluminium — and the preview shows you exactly that before you bid. Strokes under 0.3 mm won’t survive. I approve every logo by hand; hate and scams are out.
What if we rebrand someday?
The metal keeps the old logo. Leah Culver, 2006: “your laser-etched ad will probably be around longer than your internet company.” She was right.
When does the etching happen?
Once, right after winners pay. Filmed start to finish. It voids the warranty and the resale value. That is the point.
